About
Frank B.

I started riding at sixteen when I came home on a bright yellow Suzuki Katana 750, much to the horror of my parents, and never really recovered. That was the beginning of the disease.
I spent twelve years in the motorcycle industry before doing the respectable thing and getting a real job, which turned out to be a poor substitute for paddocks, garages, gas-station parking lots, and the kind of conversations that only happen when somebody has safety wire in one pocket and bad judgment in the other.
I still ride, still chase the fast stuff like a washed-up old guy who should probably know better, and still have a soft spot for weird bikes, fast bikes, and just about anything on two wheels. I believe most of the interesting machines are hiding just outside the part of the market people take seriously.
I'm a former road racer and supermoto racer based in Denver, Colorado. Blackflag Moto is where all of that goes now: the weird bikes, the fast bikes, the market mistakes, the auction reads, the stories, and the machines that never made much sense to polite people in the first place.
If you've got a lead, a correction, a strange bike, or just a story worth swapping, drop a line at thegarage@blackflag-moto.com.
I'm looking forward to swapping stories, bad decisions, and the kind of bikes that keep normal people up at night.
